Impress is an Adobe Acrobat plug-in that enables you to stamp text on PDF files:
- Using any font.
- As a watermark or foreground.
- With transparency options.
- In a fixed position relative to any edge of the page.
- With various rotations.
- Using variables such as date, time, page number.
- Option of using numbering systems such as Bates, Roman etc.
An impression (Text stamp) can be set either as a watermark, which is on a layer below all of the existing text and images, or above existing text, where it can be used for headers and footers, page numbering etc. Variables can be set to define page numbering, total number of pages and date and time. Bates numbering is supported.
The following options are available to allow you to control the impression with which you want to mark your document:
For the ability to be able to process multiple files and/or create multiple impressions (text stamps) at one time, see details on our Impress Pro product. To stamp graphical images, see details on our ImagePlacer product.
When used in combination with Automator and other Plug-in Suite tools, you have unrivalled flexibility and power to edit, modify or standardize many files in one easy operation. The processing can be applied to the current file only, or all files in any number of specified directories, or to specifically selected files, or any combination of these options.
The Mapsoft PDF Plug-ins are especially useful where there is a requirement to comment, markup or edit PDF documents for publishing purposes especially where automation may be an important factor.
